Biography
The Kevin Jones Family… A new name in Southern Gospel Music but Southern Gospel Music is not new to them. Kevin Jones, the group’s founder and manager has been singing and writing Gospel Music for most of his life. At the age of four he began to sing the high harmony part with his parents and brother. For over twenty years the Georgia based family, The Joneses, traveled across the southeast and into Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Louisiana singing crowd favorites and original songs.

KEVIN
Kevin began writing songs at the age of eight and has to date over 150 songs to his credit. In 1996 Kevin left the road and started in fulltime pastoral ministry with his wife Tonya. He felt the call to preach just shortly after he was saved, at the age of six, but in 1996 he knew it was time to move in a different direction. Kevin and Tonya had known each other since she was seven and he was nine. They attended the same church and early on there was a "spark" although they did not date until they were in their teens. Kevin and Tonya’s first date was to Greenville, South Carolina where The Joneses were taping a television program. Their first date vehicle was a bus!

TONYA
Tonya was saved at a very young age as well and sang in the church choir. Later she learned to play the piano. Eventually she started to sing harmony on a few songs with Kevin’s family. In 1993 she and Kevin were married and a little over four years later they welcomed their first child, Sarah Elizabeth.

SARAH
Twelve-year old Sarah has a desire to sing and be active in the ministry and share the message of Jesus Christ. She too has accepted Jesus as her personal savior. God has His hand on her. Kevin and Tonya are very proud of her for her desire to minister in song.
For the past two years God has been stirring the family to expand in ministry. They pastor a very successful church in South Carolina but music is in their blood. They only schedule appointments on Fridays and Saturdays but on Sundays Kevin is back in the pulpit preaching. Kevin shares, "It stretches us but we strongly believe that God wants to use us to spread the gospel in every way he has gifted or enabled us."
